About a month ago, I traveled to Sarova White Sands, one of my favorite beach resorts in Mombasa, Kenya. One thing I truly love about Sarova White Sands is their warm hospitality. From the restaurants—my favorite being the Thai Chi Restaurant by the beach—oh my God, I was beyond excited to see how they have revamped the place! It’s absolutely stunning, so, so beautiful. That’s where I had my welcome lunch before heading up to my room.

My favorite rooms are always the seafront rooms overlooking the ocean. They offer such breathtaking views, where you can actually wake up from your room and feel like you’re washing your face in the ocean.

I was on a relaxation retreat, and after checking in, I spent plenty of time simply resting in my room, soaking in those peaceful ocean views.

Of course, I couldn’t miss the Turiya Spa—I think everyone there knows me! I absolutely love chilling around the jacuzzi, and I indulged in a good deep tissue massage. They did an incredible job, and I enjoyed every moment of it.

I love winding up my days at Cocos Beach Club. After dinner, I spent most of my evenings there, laughing, relaxing, and savoring my favorite cocktails. Kudos to the barman—I think I managed to sample most of them!

It was such a beautiful, beautiful experience.

If you’re someone looking for a relaxing beach holiday, then Sarova White Sands has it all—especially for ladies seeking a touch of calm and elegance. During my stay, I even took time to craft my strategic business plan for 2026, and I managed to hold a few business meetings with my partners in Mombasa.

I would definitely say that the hotel is perfect for both a business traveler and anyone looking for a tranquil beach hideaway.
