Itinerary

🌅 Day 1 – Arrival and First Breath of the Wild

Arrive in Nairobi and in less than an hour you’ll trade the city’s hum for the soft rustle of grass at The Emakoko. A warm smile, a cool drink, and the sight of impalas grazing beyond your veranda welcome you to your new world.

After settling into your hillside cottage, embark on your first The Emakoko game drive through Nairobi National Park — a breathtaking scene where lions roam beneath the distant skyline. Stop for sundowners as the sun melts into the plains.

Return to The Emakoko for a candle-lit dinner by the river, serenaded by crickets and the distant call of nightjar birds.
🌙 “At The Emakoko, night doesn’t fall — it sighs.”

🌄 Day 2 – Morning Magic and Farewell

Wake to birdsong and freshly brewed Kenyan coffee. Join The Emakoko rangers for an early-morning safari — the wild is most alive at dawn. Maybe you’ll spot a rhino crossing the misty grasslands or watch giraffes greet the day.

Enjoy a hearty breakfast back at The Emakoko, then relax by the pool or on your veranda as the Mbagathi River flows below. For those with time, visit the nearby David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage or Giraffe Centre before your transfer.

As you check out, the staff at The Emakoko bid you farewell — but a piece of its peace travels with you.
🌿 “You may leave The Emakoko, but The Emakoko never leaves you.”
