Day 2 – Culture, Adventure & Farewell

The day unfolds with a visit to the Kisumu Impala Sanctuary — a quiet haven where impalas graze, hippos yawn, and birds burst into color against the morning sky. Return to the hotel for a swim or a workout, then later venture into town to explore Kisumu’s vibrant craft markets and the legendary Dunga Beach. For the adventurous, a boat ride across Lake Victoria offers a splash of thrill — gliding across Kenya’s inland sea as fishermen cast their nets and the horizon glows gold. Back at the hotel, enjoy a late lunch or coffee on the terrace, reflecting on moments too beautiful to rush. As the sun sinks low, it’s time to say kwaheri — but Kisumu never truly leaves you.

• The lake’s breeze is refreshing; swimwear + hat/sunglasses recommended.

• Airport transfer from Kisumu International Airport takes approx 10-15 minutes when traffic is light
