Day 1: Arrival in Maasai Mara – Welcome to Zebra Plains Camp

Your safari adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi through the Great Rift Valley, offering breathtaking scenery and photographic stops along the way. Alternatively, you can fly directly to the Maasai Mara for a quicker, scenic arrival. Upon reaching the Mara, you are warmly welcomed by the Zebra Plains Camp team with refreshing drinks and a short orientation about your stay. After check-in, enjoy a delicious lunch as you take in sweeping views of the golden savannah from the camp’s open dining area.

In the afternoon, relax at the camp’s lounge or enjoy a rejuvenating spa treatment before heading out for your first evening game drive. This thrilling drive introduces you to the incredible wildlife of the Maasai Mara, from graceful giraffes to powerful lions preparing for their evening hunt. As the sun sets over the horizon, return to the camp where a bonfire awaits. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner under a canopy of stars, listening to the distant calls of the wild, and spend your first night in the comfort of your luxury tent at Zebra Plains Camp.

Day 2: Full-Day Safari Adventure in Maasai Mara

Wake up to the soft melodies of birds and enjoy an early breakfast before setting out for a full-day game drive. The Maasai Mara is home to the Big Five and countless other species, and today offers the perfect opportunity to witness them in their natural habitat. Your experienced guide will take you through the park’s diverse landscapes — from acacia-dotted plains to riverbanks where crocodiles and hippos thrive. During the Great Migration season, you might witness thousands of wildebeests and zebras crossing the Mara River in one of nature’s most breathtaking spectacles.

Lunch will be served picnic-style in the heart of the reserve, surrounded by the sounds and sights of the wild. In the late afternoon, you’ll return to Zebra Plains Camp for a moment of relaxation. Enjoy the warmth of the evening by the campfire with a refreshing sundowner, followed by a bush-style dinner set under the vast African sky. Spend the night in your elegantly furnished tent, lulled to sleep by the tranquil sounds of the Mara wilderness. Overnight at Zebra Plains Camp.

Day 3: Sunrise Safari and Departure

Begin your final morning with an early game drive as the sun rises over the savannah, casting a golden glow across the plains. This is one of the best times to spot wildlife in action — lions returning from their nocturnal hunts, elephants grazing peacefully, and herds of antelopes moving gracefully through the grasslands. Return to camp for breakfast, savoring every moment of your last morning in the wild.

After breakfast, take a few moments to relax, soak in the views, and perhaps capture final photos before checking out. Depart for Nairobi by road or flight, carrying unforgettable memories of your time at Zebra Plains Camp — where luxury and wilderness come together for an authentic, soul-stirring safari experience.
